NEETU GUPTA | Chairperson
Neetu Gupta, an alumna of the prestigious Shri Ram College of Commerce, has always been passionate about making education enjoyable and meaningful. Her commitment to holistic learning led her to work with leading publishing firms and international institutions to create engaging academic content. Drawing on her extensive experience, she helps students identify their interests, align them with the right career paths, and channel their passion into academic research. By connecting them with expert mentors, she guides students in drafting high-quality research papers and supports them in publishing their work in reputed journals.
PRACHI BANSAL | Chief Editor
Passionate about the written word, Prachi Bansal, a Lady Shri Ram College alumna with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English literature, brings nearly two decades of experience in training and higher education. She has worked with global firms like Accenture Management Consulting and NIIT Limited, where she designed and edited training content for clients in the US and Europe, conducted training needs analyses, and mentored graduates from top colleges. Today, she leverages this rich experience to guide students in crafting impactful college essays, drafting strong LoRs, practicing through mock interviews, and sharpening their writing skills through interactive workshops.
SHILPA GOYAL
Creative Head and Director
Shilpa exhibits her creativity by approaching the application process and student interactions in a unique and innovative way. She helps students via profile enrichment activities like personality development, portfolio development, and social impact initiatives. She also shares impactful ways for validations of the students’ efforts through digital media and creates their unique brand to stand out from the pool of college applicants. She graduated from India’s premier fashion institute, NIFT.
ANUJ AGARWAL | Advisor
Anuj, a Master of Engineering Management graduate from Duke University, is an expert in financial services and investment banking. As Senior Director at a leading European firm, he recruits from top B-schools and mentors young talent. He draws on his extensive experience to help students prepare for technical interviews and succeed in competitive selection processes. Discern and Learn is proud to have him as a student advisor who periodically mentors our students.
NAMAN GUPTA | Advisor
Naman graduated in finance and accounting from the renowned Ross Business School, University of Michigan, where he was an active member of several investment, consulting, and Model UN groups. He gives an insider’s perspective to the application process, having successfully completed it himself for top colleges in the US, UK, and Singapore. He worked for prestigious US companies and uses his experience to mentor students as they seek internships after graduation.
PAAKHI GUPTA | Student Mentor
Currently an undergraduate at the National University of Singapore, Paakhi Gupta brings fresh, hands-on experience to Discern & Learn’s mentorship team. She has also completed undergraduate training in Kathak and founded Pride in Buying, a self-sustaining nonprofit supporting migrant workers. A Gold Award winner in the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition, Paakhi is a dynamic student leader who has contributed to dance, economics, and consulting clubs at school and university. With her diverse background, she guides young applicants through academics, extracurriculars, and personal growth with empathy and practical insight.
